Industry Wide Raw Material Issue

UPDATED: Improved Lead Times

We are pleased to inform you that although our industry is still experiencing a shortage of raw material, there has been improvement, with system suppliers and factories now beginning to increase their stock levels.

Whilst we are still not able to quite meet our usual speedy lead times, there has been a steady and positive improvement on delivery dates going forward.

Why the shortage?
Our profile supplier and factory were required to close for 8 weeks in line with Government guidelines, therefore profile and products were not manufactured. Both ourselves and our profile supplier expected that stock levels would go back to normal by now, however this isn't yet the case.
What are we doing?
Our factories have recruited more people, increased shifts and ordered additional equipment in order to speed up production. Our processing and manufacturing teams are working hard to ensure you receive your products as soon as possible. This is naturally dependent on raw material supplies into our profile supplier.

Some jobs have unfortunately needed to be rescheduled. If you currently have an order with ourselves, please rest assured that if we do need to reschedule your order, we will give you as much notice as possible and will do all we can to minimise the impact. All products will be manufactured in date order and your custom is very important to us.

When will I receive my order?
If you’ve already had a delivery date, this should take place and we will contact you if otherwise.
When will I receive my delivery date?
If you’ve not yet received your delivery date please bear with us. We are working to give you the most accurate date, taking into account the current situation.

Can I cancel my order?
Your order will go into production at 9am the following working day, cancellations and amendments may not be possible after this time. This is due to your bespoke items being prepared in readiness for manufacture. Including but not limited to: glass units, panels and profile lengths being cut to suit your items sizes and requirements. It may be possible to receive a partial refund after this time dependent on the manufacturing stage.
Will I be compensated?
Ordinarily we would look at compensation on a job by job basis. Regrettably, due to material shortages and manufacturing capacity issues being beyond our control, we are unfortunately unable to compensate for delays. We are working hard to ensure the delivery date we give you is as accurate and reliable as possible.
